PAINTINGS
Each painting composing the exhibition is mounted on one or several canvases of 130 x 195cm and is supported by three pillars:
- The aesthetics of cycling: paintings in which the bicycle and the act of using it are protagonists.
- Life: each canvas is connected to a vital episode of the artist.
- The Hero's Journey: Joseph Campbell's work is used as the basic pattern of the exhibition.
INSTALLATIONS
The aim is for the exhibition visitor to also have fun by interacting with some works and becoming an active part of the exhibition.
OBJECTS
Art pieces imagined for fun, in some works Kike plays with cycling terms, while in others he simply uses a bicycle part to create something new.
"Straights, curves, color, movement, and pleasure; all combined to maintain balance. I could be talking about a painting or a bicycle." – KIKE IBÁÑEZ
